The awards ceremony and the exhibition opening of ‘ASEAN-Korea Children’s Drawing Contest <My Friend ASEAN>’ was held at the ASEAN-Hall of ASEAN-Korea Centre on 19th of January, 2012.
For this year’s contest, Se-Yeon IM (6th Grade, Seoul Gocheok Elementary School) who submitted a drawing titled “Glittering ASEAN” has won the gold award. The silver award went to 6 students and the bronze award went to 12 students. Additional awards were given to 50 students for their outstanding works.
The Exhibition comprising 69 winning artworks will be held from 19 January to 29 February 2012 and these artworks will also be made available online though the cyber gallery of the Centre.
The artworks feature landscapes and scenery of ASEAN countries from viewpoints of elementary school students in Korea. It will be a great experience to appreciate these wonderful artworks that show marvelous imaginations of children.
We also provide exhibition catalogues, eco-bags, badges, and ASEAN passports to people who visit the exhibition.
